Interval Training Routines Women
Interval training-How do I do it&what other exercises do I need 2 do to make it an efective weightloss workout?
Ok guys im 21 year old female looking to lose weight and tone now that i have actually got time to do it LOL!
Anyway i was looking in to doing interval training but there is far to many different ways…so I need someone who can tell me the the best way to do it FOR A WOMAN and i will be using a exercise bike as i read its better.
I was doing 6 min warm up
1 min fast 2 mins slow x 4 or the 20 secs fast 10 secs slow
6 mins cool down
Which am i meant to do?
What other exercises can i do to add to the interval which will help me tone up also
So basically a good routine that will help me do both tone and lose weight that i can do at home (not the gym!)
I want to lose weight all over but my tummy is my main goal as are my shoulders as i think they are quite big ¬_¬

I would recommend the 1min fast and 2 slow, but i would look to build this up. Dont stay on this workout for too long. As soon as it starts to feel like you are improving change it to 1min fast 1.30 slow and vhange from 4x to 6x. Eventually your aim is to have longer fast and shorter slow intervals. Does your bike tell you RPM?
I would suggest a circuit to help tone up and lose weight.
High intensity is best for weight loss,
Do you know body weight exercise like lunge, tricep dips or kickbacks?
